Restricted training course

The next restricted training course for the off-job training component of your licence is:

            October 2017

The course runs for two consecutive weeks though the days you need to attend depends on the endorsement on your Training Permit (i.e. composite equipment, electronic equipment etc) and the competencies you require (i.e. single phase, three phase, disconnect/reconnect etc).  Likewise the cost of the course depends on these factors.

Please contact Chris on (07) 3344 1274 or if your having trouble in reaching him (often away or in class) please email Chris, chris@qet.edu.au, and attach a copy of your Training Permit. Chris can reply to emails easier and faster than phone calls to discuss your needs.

Cost: This depends on the training which is documented on your Training Permit, hence the need for a copy of your Training Permit.

Test and Tag course

The Test and Tag training requires an applicant to complete two competencies, UEENEEE101A, Apply Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace, and UEENEEP026A Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord, to be deemed a Competent Person in accordance with the Queensland Electrical Safety Regulation, the AS/NZS 3760 and AS/NZS 3012 Standards.

QET has found it very difficult to complete this training within timeframes set by other Registered Training Organisations and consequently, cannot participate in this highly competitive market.

If your Organisation has a number of people requiring this training, and prefer the training to be completed on-site, on equipment likely to be tested by the participants, and over a period of time more suited to two competencies, please contact Chris, chris@qet.edu.au, to discuss training options. QET has provided similar training to:

City Councils and

Borallon Correctional Centre

in the past.
