Firstly, this training is accredited. UEERE0004 Install, maintain and fault find battery storage systems for grid-connected photovoltaic systems, and UEERE0005 Design battery storage systems for grid-connected photovoltaic systems, are nationally accredited competencies recognised by the Clean Energy Council (CEC) to go towards your Battery Storage Accreditation.   Secondly, this training is being delivered by Chris Williamson (QET) and Robert Pitt (A1 Solar), who has been installing both on-grid and off grid solar arrays, inverters, generators for over thirty years and battery storage systems for over fifty years. And still doing it! Robert is here to help you through these competencies, give you helpful hints, suggest ways in which to do things, and make sure you are aware of the law, standards, and your responsibilities.
     
Delivery:    
Course Material: QET in consultation with A1 Solar, has produced a comprehensive Learning Guide to supplement the CEC Guidelines.  The learning guide takes you step by step through the design and install of two hybrid systems, one for a domestic installation, one for a commercial installation, both with current solar arrays.

In accordance with the competency assessment guidelines and will assess your ability to design a hybrid system. Battery theory

Earthing
Practical Assessment: In accordance with the competency assessment guidelines and will assess your ability to install a hybrid system. You will be required to install battery system, multimode inverter, protection, cabling, and earthing in accordance with Australian/ NZ Standards framework.
